Drs. Sharma and Olayiwola Speak at the Western Clinicians Network Region IX Leadership Institute

CEPC's Associate Director Dr. Nwando Olayiwola and Primary Care Research Fellow Dr. Anjana Sharma recently spoke at the 2015 Region IX Leadership Institute in San Diego hosted by the Western Clinicians Network, the Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers, and the California Primary Care Association. The conference is attended by community health center and primary care leaders around the Western United States.

Dr. Sharma's talk, "Engaging Patients in Community Health Center Organizational Improvement," shared findings from a CEPC cross-sectional survey of community health centers and their current practices of patient engagement, as well as a qualitative study of patients and staff working with patient advisory councils.

Dr. Olayiwola gave a plenary talk on "Achieving the Quadruple Aim: The Role of Practice Transformation and Quality Improvement in Primary Care Physician Satisfaction".
