Dr. Olayiwola and Candy Magaña Deliver Health Coaching and Team-Based Care Workshops at Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana

Supported by a care redesign grant from the Hitachi Foundation, CEPC director Dr. Nwando Olayiwola and practice coach and trainer Candy Magaña, joined by Barbara Dyer and Tom Strong from the Hitachi Foundation and Lisel Blash from the UCSF Center for the Health Professions, provided an intensive dive into the Ten Building Blocks of High Performing Primary Care, team-based care, and health coaching. The Billings Clinic is one of four practices nationwide that received funding from the Hitachi Foundation for a care design initiative focused on expanding the role and workforce potential of the medical assistant.
