The Center for Care Innovations has highlighted Southeast Health Center’s scribe training program on its website: Incubator Insights: Scribes in the Safety Net. Southeast Health Center (SEHC) developed a two-week scribe training course and has sent graduates to scribe at eight health centers in the San Francisco Health Network. Using our Team Documentation and Scribing Evaluation Toolkit, SEHC was able to track increases in provider satisfaction and productivity with the use of scribes; the scribing program increased the volume of patients for each provider by an average of 1.8 per half-day session.
